“The kind of places where you can stop, sit down, settle in, and say: I am staying here. And perhaps without even realizing it, this is where death might find you.”

Béla Hamvas

Lana in the process of making wine

Our wines are small batch, low intervention, delicious and approachable, produced from land farmed with care, vineyards managed with respect, and a team dedicated to honest wine from an incredible region.

Vineyard landscape

Our 3.2ha vineyard was planted in 1991 to Pinot Noir only. The soil of the vineyard is modest – it sits on heavy mudstone with a predominantly northerly aspect. The northern position allows for good exposure to wind, high temperature fluctuation between day and night and optimal exposure to sun. The two Pinot Noir blocks lie on slopes of Mardan Hills flirting dangerously with Tarwin River.

Grapes, Pinot Noir

One of the great powers of wine and food is to evoke memories . Childhood memories take me back to the time of humility, sincerity, responsibility, respect and love for the earth , nature and environment .
